Kasteel Bouvigne in Breda

You're standing at Bouvigne Castle, just outside the Ginneken district, on the edge of the Mastbos woods south of Breda. Look at the tower with its elegant Renaissance top, and the moats around it. Nobody knows exactly how old this castle is. What we do know is that around 1500 there was already a moated stone house here, on an estate then called De Boeverie.
