You're standing by the Marble Palace, on the shore of the Heiliger See in Potsdam's New Garden. Take a good look at the façade. Despite the name, this is mostly a red brick building. The marble, grey and white from Silesia, is in the decorations and trim. On top of the square main block sits a little round pavilion, the belvedere. At its tip, small cherubs carry a basket of fruit.
