You're standing in Augusta Raurica, between the Swiss villages of Augst and Kaiseraugst, close to the Rhine. A real Roman town once stood here. It's the oldest known Roman colony on the Rhine, founded around 44 BC by Lucius Munatius Plancus. Funny thing is, nothing from those early days has turned up yet. The oldest find so far dates from 6 BC.
