You're standing at the Teatro Regio, the Royal Theatre of Turin and one of Italy's leading opera houses. Start by taking a close look at the brick façade. The bricks were specially cut to create a relief of stars. They seem to overlap one another endlessly, a bit like fish scales. The shadows cast by the jutting edges make the illusion even stronger. This façade is actually part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Piedmont.
