You're standing on the Zuiddijk at Museum Maassluis, the museum about the history of this town. Look at the front. The museum fills two buildings, joined by a newer section in between. That's the entrance. During a renovation in 2013 and 2014 it was designed to look like a paper lantern, so it stands out in the street by day and by night. The house at number 16 was built in 1883 as a home and is a listed local monument.
