Museum Sansevero Chapel in Naples

You're standing on Via Francesco de Sanctis, in the historic heart of Naples, just around the corner from the church of San Domenico Maggiore. Behind this door is the Cappella Sansevero, once the private chapel of the princes of San Severo and today one of the busiest museums in the city. Turn around for a second. Across the street is the Palazzo di Sangro, the same family's palace. A bridge once linked palace and chapel, until water seeped in and it collapsed in 1888.
