You're standing at the Museum of Vuk and Dositej, in the old heart of Belgrade. First, take a good look at the building itself. It's a classic Turkish town house, built in 1739, with two floors and an attic. That makes it one of the eight oldest surviving homes in the city. So what you're looking at is a piece of Ottoman Belgrade that has made it through almost three centuries.
