You're standing beside Mons Meg, one of the largest cannons in the world by the width of its barrel. She sits here at Edinburgh Castle, right next to little St Margaret's Chapel. Start with that mouth. It's about half a metre across, wide enough for a stone ball weighing around 175 kilos. The whole gun is four metres long and weighs close to seven tonnes.
