You're standing at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, in Edinburgh's West End, on Palmerston Place. Take a moment to look up. Three spires, and that's rare. Only three cathedrals in the whole of the United Kingdom have three. The central one is 90 metres tall, which makes this the tallest building in the Edinburgh urban area. The two western spires even have names: Barbara and Mary.
