This stage of the Saksenroute (LF14) is a cycle route of about 47 km from Coevorden to Ommen. After Coevorden the route crosses into Overijssel, past the Loozensche Linie earthworks, and from Hardenberg it follows the Vecht through the Vecht and Lower Regge area, past Rheeze, Oud-Bergentheim, Mariënberg, Beerze and Junne to Ommen. There is a lookout tower along the way. The route is flat; more than half runs on ordinary roads and two fifths on cycle path. We know of two toilets and one water tap, but no bike pump. The full LF14 runs from Lauwersoog to Enschede.
