This stage of the Saksenroute (LF14) is a cycle route of about 52 km from Ommen to Ootmarsum. You ride past Kasteel Eerde and through the Eerde estate, via Den Ham and Vroomshoop, past the De Zandstuve nature area and the Engbertsdijksvenen bog, and through Daarlerveen, Geesteren and Tubbergen to Ootmarsum. It is fairly flat. Almost half is asphalt, a third paved and a tenth gravel. We know of one toilet and one water tap on the way, but no bike pump. The full LF14 runs from Lauwersoog to Enschede.
