You're standing at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara, on the south side of Ankara Castle in the old Atpazarı district. The museum is housed in two Ottoman buildings. The main one is a covered bazaar, built between 1464 and 1471 by Mahmut Pasha, a vizier of Sultan Mehmed the Second. Ten domes cover it, and it once held 102 shops facing each other. The second building is the Kurşunlu Han, a caravanserai with a courtyard and rooms on two floors.
