You're standing on Ivan Mažuranić Square in Zagreb, in front of the Ethnographic Museum. Take a good look at the building first. It's built in the Secession style, Central Europe's take on Art Nouveau. It wasn't designed as a museum at all. It opened in 1903 as the Trades Hall, a building for crafts and commerce. The architect was Vjekoslav Bastl.
