You're standing in a small park in Culemborg, between the Rijksstraatweg and the Meerkade, beside a little river called the Meer. A castle called Caetshage once stood here. Nothing of the castle itself survives, but take a good look around. Planting and a low wall mark where it stood, and its mound has been partly rebuilt.
