Kasteel Neerijnen in West Betuwe

You're standing at Huis Neerijnen, also known as Klingelenburg. It's a castle with its own estate, just north of the village of Neerijnen. Take a good look, because what you see has grown over several centuries. The story starts in 1350. That's when a knight, Gijsbert de Cocq van Neerijnen, built a house called Klingelenburg here, about a kilometre from Waardenburg Castle. Keep that other castle in mind, it comes back.
