Ikonenmuseum in Kampen

You're standing at the Icon Museum in Kampen, on Buiten Nieuwstraat. It's a rather special place. Together with a museum in Recklinghausen in Germany, it's one of the very few museums in Western Europe devoted entirely to icons and religious art from Russia. It also holds icons from other countries with an Eastern Orthodox tradition.
