You're standing at De Waterwolf, on the Reitdiep by the hamlet of Lammerburen, a couple of kilometres north of Oldehove. Take a look at the building. In this flat landscape it towers over everything, and it's a listed monument. This is one of the largest pumping stations in the Netherlands.
