You're standing on O'Connell Street, Dublin's main thoroughfare, at the foot of The Spire. Go on, look up. This stainless steel needle is 120 metres tall. At the bottom it's three metres across, and at the very top just fifteen centimetres. It's also known as the Monument of Light, in Irish An Túr Solais.
