You're standing at the Guinness Storehouse, right in the middle of the St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin. Take a look up at that tall building. It looks like a solid industrial block, but back in 1902 it was something new. It was the first multi-storey steel-framed building in Ireland. Its designers followed the Chicago School, the style of America's early skyscrapers.
