You're standing on Old Town Square in Prague, in front of the Kinský Palace. Look for the pink façade with the white decorations. That soft pink and white is Rococo at its most playful. The palace was built between 1755 and 1765 for the Golz family, to a design by architect Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer. Now take a look at the statues on the front. They're by sculptor Ignaz Franz Platzer, and they represent the classical elements: earth, water, fire and air.
