You're standing on Charles Bridge in Prague, the famous stone bridge over the Vltava, between the Old Town and the Malá Strana district. Start with the statues along the sides. There are thirty of them, mostly Baroque, put up between 1683 and 1714, and they show saints. Here's something many people don't know: they're all copies. From 1965 onwards, the originals were replaced one by one, because the sandstone was weathering too badly.
