You're standing on Old Town Square in Prague, right by the huge memorial to Jan Hus. Start with the tall figure in the middle. That's Hus himself, upright in a long, flowing robe. Around him is a whole crowd of figures. On one side are victorious Hussite warriors. On the other are Protestants forced into exile some two hundred years after Hus, after the lost Battle of the White Mountain in the Thirty Years' War. Look out for the young mother too. She stands for the rebirth of the Czech nation.
