You're standing at Porto Cathedral, the Sé, right in the historic heart of the city. It's one of Porto's oldest monuments. Start with the front. There are two square towers, each propped up by a pair of buttresses and topped with a dome. Above the entrance runs an arch with battlements on top. It all makes the place look more like a fortress than a church.
