You're standing at the Oslo Opera House, right on the water of the Oslofjord. The building looks like an iceberg rising at an angle out of the fjord. That effect comes from white granite and white Italian marble from Carrara. And the best part? You're allowed to walk on the roof. The sloping surfaces come all the way down to street level, so the roof is really one big public square. Go on, walk up. From the top you get a wide view over the city and the fjord.
