You're standing at Passau Cathedral, the Cathedral of Saint Stephen. It's the seat of the Catholic Bishop of Passau, and it certainly looks the part. Look up at the two towers, and behind them the dome, rising sixty-nine metres into the sky. The church itself is about a hundred metres long.
