You're standing in Sibelius Park, in Helsinki's Töölö district, at one of the most recognised sights in the city. In front of you is a rippling cloud of steel pipes. There are 569 of them, all stainless steel, welded together. The whole thing spans more than ten metres at its widest and weighs 24 tonnes. It stands on three legs, right on the natural granite.
