This stage of the Hanzeroute (LF3) is a cycle route of about 45 km from Wijhe to Zutphen, along the IJssel. You ride through Olst and Diepenveen to Deventer, where you pass the Bolwerksmolen windmill, and on through the floodplains and past the De Poll estate to Zutphen. It is flat and almost all asphalt or paved; much of it is on ordinary roads and just over a quarter on cycle path. We know of one toilet and four water taps on the way, but no bike pump.
