Schelpenmuseum Zaamslag in Terneuzen

You're standing on the Plein, the village square of Zaamslag, at number 3. For many years this was home to the Shell Museum. It was a private museum, filled with the collection of one man: amateur archaeologist Gerrit Johan de Zeeuw. Sadly, you can't go in anymore. The museum had to close in 2020, during the pandemic, and it never reopened.
