You're standing at Kasteel Wisch, right on the edge of the town centre of Terborg, in the east of the Netherlands. Look at that long, whitewashed complex. It has an unusual L shape. On the outer corner stands a big round tower from the fifteenth century, with a six-sided stair tower leaning against it. The main house carries the year 1648, just after the Eighty Years' War. At the far end of the long service wing is a square tower from around 1700, with prison cells in its cellar.
