You're standing at Troja Palace, on the northern edge of Prague. Take a look at the building. It's a Baroque summer palace, built between 1679 and 1691 for the Counts of Sternberg. You can spot both French and Italian influences. That's mostly down to the French architect Jean Baptiste Mathey. He also designed the Buquoy Palace in Prague, which is now the French embassy. Before him, Domenico Orsi had worked on the palace, and Silvestro Carlone was in charge of the building work.
