Fernsehturm Stuttgart

You're standing at the Stuttgart TV Tower, on top of a hill called Hoher Bopser in the district of Degerloch. Look up along that slender concrete shaft. Near the top sits a kind of basket, with the antenna rising above it. In total the tower is just over 216 metres tall. And its base is already 483 metres above sea level, so it really rises high over the city.
