You're standing on the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart, in front of the Neues Schloss, the New Palace. It's an eighteenth-century Baroque palace, and one of the last big city palaces built in Southern Germany. Take a look at the wings on either side and the dome above the central block. Also on the square you'll find the Jubiläumssäule, a jubilee column, and the Königsbau.
