You're standing on Vimy Ridge, at Canada's national memorial to the First World War. This is the highest point of the ridge, known during the war as Hill 145. Start with the two pylons, about thirty metres tall. One carries the maple leaf of Canada, the other the French fleur-de-lis. Right at the top stands Peace, holding a torch aloft. That torch is the highest point in the whole region.
