You're standing at De Koperen Knop, an old farmhouse in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. It was built in the early seventeenth century as a so-called hall house, where living and working happened under one big roof. Walk over to the front door. See that copper knob? That's where the farm got its name, the Copper Knob, and so did the museum inside.
