Castle Het Onstein in Bronckhorst

You're standing at Onstein, a country estate in the hamlet of Linde near Vorden. Take a look at the house. Little towers, a slate roof, a tall stair tower. It looks like a real castle, and locals even call it Kasteel Onstein, Onstein Castle. But it never was one. Nor was it ever a havezate, a noble manor with special rights, even though it has all the features of one.
