You're standing at the Chilehaus in Hamburg, in the heart of the Kontorhaus District. If you can, walk round to the east side, because that's where the building looks its best. See that sharp point at the corner of Pumpen and Niedernstraße? That's where the two façades meet at a very acute angle. It looks just like the prow of a ship sailing into the city.
