Museum Hengelo

You're standing outside Museum Hengelo, the museum devoted to the history of this town. Take a look at the building. It was once a shop with a house attached. Around 1880 it was turned into an elegant townhouse. It's one of the few nineteenth-century houses in Hengelo that still has its original fireplaces, stained glass windows and decorative plaster ceilings.
