You're standing in front of the National History Museum of Albania, right in the middle of Tirana. Look straight up at that huge mosaic above the entrance. It's called The Albanians, and it's about eleven metres high and forty metres long. Five Albanian artists made it in 1980, just in time for the museum's opening. It's a textbook piece of Socialist realism: heroic, bold and full of pride.
