Pasha's Mosque/Colorful Mosque in Tetovo

You're standing at the Šarena Mosque in Tetovo, close to the Pena River. The name means the Decorated, or Painted, Mosque, and one look at the façade tells you why. Where many Ottoman mosques use ceramic tiles, this one is covered in bright floral paintings. Glance up at the roof as well. There's no big dome on the outside, which is unusual.
