New monastery of Leshok

You're standing at Lešok Monastery, close to the village of the same name in the northwest of North Macedonia. The border with Kosovo is only a short distance away. Take a look around. You're 638 metres up, on the southeastern slopes of the Šar Mountains. Inside the complex, two churches stand side by side: the Church of the Holy Mother of God and the Church of St. Athanasius of Alexandria.
