You're standing in Bergeijk, close to the Belgian border. During the First World War, this border was lined by the Wire, also known as the Wire of Death. Picture it for a moment: posts between one and a half and three metres tall, with five to ten wires strung between them. Those wires carried two thousand volts. Touching them usually meant death.
