You're standing on the Place du Capitole, the heart of Toulouse. In front of you is the Capitole, the city hall. Take a look at that long façade. It stretches a full 135 metres and it's built from pink brick, the signature material of Toulouse. Architect Guillaume Cammas designed it in the neoclassical style, and it was finished in 1760.
