You're standing at the Muséum de Toulouse, the city's natural history museum, in the Busca-Montplaisir neighbourhood. Behind these walls sits a huge collection: more than two and a half million items, from rocks and fossils to birds and plants. Take a look at the building itself. Part of it is old, part of it is new. Around 2008 the museum was renovated and extended, to a design by the firm of architect Jean-Paul Viguier.
