Ġgantija Temples in Xagħra

You're standing at the Ġgantija temples, on the edge of a plateau above the village of Xagħra on Gozo. Start with those huge stone blocks. People piled them up here around five and a half thousand years ago, with no metal tools and no wheel. Archaeologists found small round stones. The builders may have rolled the giant blocks into place on top of them.
