Herrenhäuser Gärten in Hanover

You're standing at the Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover. It's actually four gardens side by side: the Great Garden, the Hill Garden, the Georgen Garden and the Guelf Garden. The star is the Great Garden, one of the most distinguished Baroque gardens in Europe. Notice how strict everything is. Lawns, hedges, walkways and statues are laid out in neat geometric patterns, with a moat running all around.
