Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts

You're standing at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, the city's fine art museum. It's housed in an annex of the Palais Rohan, right in the centre of town. Have a look around. There are really two buildings here. The museum itself went up between 1875 and 1881. In front of it stands the Galerie des Beaux-Arts, a later addition built between 1936 and 1939. That's where the temporary exhibitions are held, so it's worth checking what's on right now.
