You're standing in Sigmaringen, below the castle of the Hohenzollerns. Take a look up at the rock. The castle sits on a limestone cliff rising about 35 meters above the Danube. With sheer sides like that, it was a natural spot for a medieval fortress. It's the largest castle in the whole Danube valley.
