You're standing at the Mercado Central, the big covered market hall in the old heart of Valencia. In Valencian it's called the Mercat Central. Take a look around first. Right across the street stand the Llotja de la Seda, the old Gothic silk exchange, and the Church of the Santos Juanes. The architects kept those neighbours in mind. Their hall is modern Valencian Art Nouveau, yet you can spot echoes of the older buildings in it.
