You're standing at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in northeast Wales. This is no ordinary bridge: it's a canal in the sky. Almost forty metres up, a cast-iron trough carries the Llangollen Canal across the valley of the River Dee. It's the longest aqueduct in Britain and the highest canal aqueduct in the world.
