You're standing at the Puente Nuevo, the New Bridge of Ronda. Walk over to the edge and look down. Below you opens the El Tajo gorge, up to 120 metres deep in places. Right at the bottom runs the Guadalevín River. This stone bridge rises 98 metres out of that chasm. No wonder it's the symbol of the whole city.
